Where can you find motivation?

Sometimes it is difficult to find motivation. Truthfully some days are just better than others. When you are not feeling motivated you have to find different ways to boost yourself, in order to complete tasks on a daily basis. I have a few suggestions that just might help you get motivated.

First, think of some of the things that you have done in the past on your good days. Often times, the way you start your day will determine how the rest of your day will go. So, plan to get into a morning routine. I like to play music as I start my day. Listening to a good playlist can help motivate you in the morning. This helps you get into a good mood and can give you the extra bounce that you may need for the day.

Next, fuel your machine. Make sure that you eat something. I know that sometimes this can be difficult if you are behind on time. However it is very important. If you don’t have time to eat a full breakfast make sure you drink some orange juice or apple juice. If you are on the go, you can purchase breakfast bars to complement your beverage or simply eat a piece of fruit.

After that try to get into a form of working out, yoga or meditation. It is very important that you take care of yourself daily. For some people this may seem like a hard task and for others it can be very easy. If you are one of those that struggle with this, I encourage you to start off light and build up. Starting off light can be walking or jogging for atlast 15 mins. If you like to meditate, you can find a quiet place or play some soothing sounds such as Ocean water, Rain drops, Natural sounds of the wilderness or Rainforest. Remember it is whatever works for you.

Finally, read something positive, and avoid negativity at all cost. I know that this can be extremely difficult in today’s world but you have to put yourself first. Remember to stay motivated even on your worse days. Nobody said life is easy.
